We’ve been quiet for too long. It’s a busy time in the payments space. Marqeta and our customers are at the heart of it. We’ve been chomping at the bit reveal what’s going on at Marqeta and open a dialogue about the payments industry. Why now?

To start, Marqeta has never been so hyper-focused, so disciplined, so efficient, and so spot-on about what the market is demanding. We returned from our 1st annual All Company Retreat aligned with a new concentration on five core solutions: delivery services, lending, disbursements, expense management, and virtual cards. They are still, and always will be, available via an open API. Each of these solutions is made up of sophisticated controls and developer-friendly configurations designed for on-demand services companies, alternative lenders, as well as those looking for payouts for 1099 workers in the gig economy, flexible expense management, e-commerce enablement, and scalable, secure virtual card transactions. In future posts, we’ll share our thoughts about how these markets are evolving.
