Marqeta and Klarna partner in Europe

We’re thrilled to announce our expanded partnership with leading Buy Now, Pay Later provider Klarna, supporting its business in 13 key European markets: the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Austria, Ireland, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. This expansion is in addition to our existing partnership with Klarna in both the United States and the Asia-Pacific region.

In May 2021, we helped Klarna with the launch of its U.K. shopping app, kicking off our partnership with them in the European region. In all 12 other European markets, we’re excited to support Klarna’s one-time-use virtual cards, representing a significant expansion of scope for our two companies.
