Best B2B Problem Solver — What does it mean to Marqeta?

At Marqeta, we’re often so busy building our product to make it the best it can be that we don’t take enough time to appreciate the work that we’ve done.
But earlier this summer, Paybefore named Marqeta as the “Best B2B Problem Solver” for the Marqeta Platform integration with MasterCard to make it easier than ever to make payments, receive payments, reward customers, and create more efficient business processes.
A win in the B2B Problem Solver category is so important to us because it perfectly represents the way we think about the solutions we provide. We wake up every day energized to inspire some of the most innovative companies in the world. To be recognized as the best is especially meaningful and energizes us to push even further.
Results were determined by a combination of expert judges and online voting. Judges highlighted that Marqeta is “expanding sophisticated payments capabilities to e-commerce businesses, the on-demand economy, payout and incentive companies, and alternative lenders.” And, on top of that, they called out our “impressive client list and growth metrics, including triple-digit growth in volume from 2015 to 2016,” as a standout reason for our selection.
It’s an honor to be recognized in the same breath as the other outstanding companies who made the full list this, including Nike and Walmart, as well as our customers ClassWallet and Virtual Incentives along with partners MasterCard and Discover.
