# Create PDF asset

> Use this endpoint to create a PDF asset for a cardholder statement.

POST/v3/statements/\{cardholderToken}/\{issuedDate}/download

Use this endpoint to create a PDF asset for a cardholder statement.

## Request body

| Fields | Description |

| account\_token string  Optional | Unique identifier of the account. **Allowable Values:**  64 char max |

## Response body

| Fields | Description |

| token string  Returned | Identifier of the statement asset. **Allowable Values:**  255 char max |
| short\_code string  Returned | Short code associated with the card program. **Allowable Values:**  Valid program short code |
| state string  Returned | Status of the statement asset. **Allowable Values:**  `PENDING`, `RENDERED`, `FAILED` |
| signed\_url object  Returned | S3 URL location of the statement asset in PDF or HTML format. **Allowable Values:**  Valid URL |
| signed\_url.**pdf** url  Conditionally returned | URL of the statement asset in PDF format. **Allowable Values:**  Valid URL |
| signed\_url.**html** url  Conditionally returned | URL of the statement asset in HTML format. **Allowable Values:**  Valid URL |
| created\_time datetime  Returned | Date and time when the statement was created, in UTC. **Allowable Values:** **Format:** yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ssZ |
