# Create event

> Create a dispute case event.

Create a dispute case event.

If you are a Managed by Marqeta (MxM) customer or a hybrid card program and you are submitting a dispute that falls under Regulation E, you must create a case event with evidence. | category<br />string<br />Returned | The category to which the event belongs.<br />**Allowable Values:**<br />`REG_E` |
