# Update document

> Change the name of a document or category.

Change the name of a document or category. If the content has already been processed and is currently `SUBMITTED` or `RECEIVED`, an error is returned.

| document\_category<br />string<br />Required | The category of the document.<br />**Allowable Values:**<br />`AFFIDAVIT_FRAUD`, `AUTHORIZATION_RECORD`, `BANK_STATEMENT`, `CANCELLED_CHECK`, `CARDHOLDER_LETTER`, `CREDIT_VOUCHER`, `FULFILLMENT`, `ISSUER_CERTIFICATION`, `MERCHANT_LETTER`, `NETWORK_DOCUMENT`, `NETWORK_EXHIBIT`, `OTHERS`, `RECEIPT`, `SALES_DRAFT`, `SECOND_OPTION`, `UPDATED_CARDHOLDER_LETTER`, `UPDATED_MERCHANT_LETTER` |
