# Resend event notification

> Resends an event notification to your webhook endpoint.

POST/webhooks/\{token}/\{event\_type}/\{event\_token}

Resends an event notification to your webhook endpoint.

Although you send this request as a `POST`, all parameters are passed in the URL and the body is empty. The event notification is resent to your webhook endpoint and is also returned in the response to this request.

## Choosing the event type and event token

The `event_type` path parameter specifies the event category, not the full event name shown on the [Event Types](https://www.marqeta.com/docs/core-api/event-types.md) page. Pass the category that contains the event you want to resend, along with the token of the individual event as the `event_token`:

| `transaction` | [Transaction events](https://www.marqeta.com/docs/core-api/event-types.md#_transaction_events), such as `authorization` and `authorization.clearing`. | Token of the transaction. |
| `chargebacktransition` | [Chargeback transition events](https://www.marqeta.com/docs/core-api/event-types.md#_chargeback_transition_events), such as `chargebacktransition.initiated` and `chargebacktransition.case.won`. | Token of the chargeback transition. |
| `cardtransition` | [Card transition events](https://www.marqeta.com/docs/core-api/event-types.md#_card_transition_events), such as `cardtransition.state.activated`. | Token of the card transition. |
| `usertransition` | [Account holder transition events](https://www.marqeta.com/docs/core-api/event-types.md#_account_holder_transition_events) for users. | Token of the user transition. |
| `businesstransition` | [Account holder transition events](https://www.marqeta.com/docs/core-api/event-types.md#_account_holder_transition_events) for businesses. | Token of the business transition. |
| `digitalwallettokentransition` | [Digital wallet token transition events](https://www.marqeta.com/docs/core-api/event-types.md#_digital_wallet_token_transition_events). | Token of the digital wallet token transition. |

> Chargeback-related transaction types, such as `authorization.clearing.chargeback` and `authorization.clearing.chargeback.completed`, are [transaction events](https://www.marqeta.com/docs/core-api/event-types.md#_transaction_events). To resend one of these notifications, use `transaction` as the `event_type` and pass the transaction token as the `event_token`. Use `chargebacktransition` only for dispute state changes, such as `chargebacktransition.case.won`.

## URL path parameters

| Fields | Description |

| token string  Required | Unique identifier of the webhook. **Allowable Values:**  Existing webhook token |
| event\_type string  Required | Specifies the type of event you want to resend. **Allowable Values:**  `chargebacktransition`, `digitalwallettokentransition`, `cardtransition`, `usertransition`, `businesstransition`, `transaction` |
| event\_token string  Required | Unique identifier of the event for which you want to resend a notification. **Allowable Values:**  Existing event token |
