**New features**

## Refresh authentication on demand with `refreshAuth()`

**Version:** 2.1.1

The new `window.marqeta.refreshAuth()` method sends a new request to your Customer Authentication API on demand, such as after a cardholder signs in again or their session changes. To update the endpoint or headers first, pass `apiEndpoint` or `apiHeadersResolver` as an argument. To request a new token with the current authentication parameters, call it with no arguments. ## Statements for checking and savings accounts

**Version:** 2.1.1

**Release date:** 2026-09-25

`mq-statement-list` now lets you view and download statements for checking and savings accounts, as well as credit accounts. Each statement row now shows an account type label: Credit, Checking, or Savings. If a statement's details fail to load, the row now shows a "Detail unavailable" message instead of disappearing from the list. You can still download that statement. ## HTTP status code in authentication error events

## Statement list uses the current statements service
