This award comes at a great time for Marqeta. We were recently awarded Best Fintech Startup at the FinTech Breakthrough Awards and named as one of Forbes’ 2019 Fintech 50. We’ve also been featured recently in The New York Times and profiled at length in Forbes. This attention is the result of incredible work behind the scenes. Our company is currently growing dramatically. Revenue has doubled in each of the last three years and platform spend has increased exponentially year-over-year. We’re closing in on 300 employees and have expanded recently into Europe with an office now open in the UK.
