Marqeta is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial who will be an important member of Marqeta’s Commercial Legal Team and strategic partner to the Revenue, Product and Finance Teams.
As the Senior Counsel, Commercial, you will provide legal and business advice on Marqeta’s customer, bank and network partner, and vendor contracts and will help improve Marqeta’s contracting processes and procedures. You will work closely with other in-house attorneys and outside counsel in providing best-in-class legal services to Marqeta’s quickly growing business. You will build strong relationships across the entire Company and will have leadership visibility with Marqeta’s cross-functional teams and leaders on legal matters relating to Marqeta’s customers, partners and vendors. You are an inspiring collaborator with a team-oriented approach to your work and have a passion for delighting your clients, customers, and partners. You will report to the Director, Assistant General Counsel of Commercial Legal.
